Tsada is a relatively big village 8 km North of Paphos city center. Tsada lies next to a transportation hub linking
most of Paphos district's villages. It is next to the current route from Paphos to Polis, and to the main route towards
traditional villages like Kallepia and Choulou. There is a bus connection to both Paphos and the Polis − Lachi area
on a daily basis.
GROUNDWORKS: General excavation and back filling with hardcore or gravel.
FOUNDATIONS: Reinforced concrete raft foundation according to the structural plans.
MAIN STRUCTURE: Earthquake resistant reinforced concrete frame in accordance with local building regulations and the study of the Civil Engineer.
ROOF: Reinforced concrete slab according to the structural plans. The pitched slabs will be first waterproofed and then 4cm of insulation will be applied prior to cover ing with clay roof tiles. The flat slabs will have an overlay of insulating foam concrete, laid to falls into rain water outlets and then waterproofed.
WALLS: External walls shall be 20cm thick terracotta perforated block work. The full wall width will include a damp proof course at the appropriate level. A 50 mm thick layer of interlocking polystyrene thermal insulation shall be bonded onto the external side of the wall. All internal partition walls shall be 10cm thick terracotta perforated block work.
All external and internal walls will receive three coats of sand-cement plaster, rendered to a smooth finish.
WALL TILING: All bathroom walls shall be covered with tiles up to the height of 2.20m prime cost of €14.00/m². In the kitchen, walls between high and low level cupboards will also be tiled at a prime cost of €14.00/m².
FLOOR TILING: All floor tiles are laid on minimum 100 mm of foam concrete screed.
a. Internal floors shall be ceramic tiles, prime cost €14.00/m².
b. Floors in the bathrooms shall be ceramic tiles, prime cost €14.00/m².
c. The verandas shall be ceramic tiles, prime cost €14.00/m².
ENTRANCE DOOR: Shall be aluminum (white in color).
